Senior Healthcare Project Architect

Buffalo Design is seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Project Architect with a minimum of 15 years’ experience to focus on healthcare projects.

Celebrating our 30th anniversary, Buffalo Design serves a range of sophisticated public and private clients, large and small.  We are an award-winning studio of planners, architects and interior designers working collaboratively to provide innovative design solutions.  We focus on environments for healthcare, public facilities and work.  Our goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations with solutions that are both creative and pragmatic.

As senior project architect you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and administering projects from start to finish.  We are looking for an innovative problem solver with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to contribute knowledge and experience in a collaborative team environment.  Most importantly, you must have the desire and ability to develop and maintain strong, long term relationships with clients.

A bachelor or master’s degree in architecture is required, as is a solid technical background in design for acute and ambulatory care environments as well as building envelope design and detailing.  Applicants should be proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite and Revit.  Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment are critical.  LEED accreditation is desirable.

Intern Architect

Buffalo Design is seeking a talented, motivated Intern Architect with at least 3 years of experience preparing architectural design and construction documents for commercial projects.

Celebrating our 30th anniversary, Buffalo Design serves a range of sophisticated public and private clients, large and small.  We are an award winning studio of planners, architects and interior designers working collaboratively to provide innovative design solutions.  We focus on environments for healthcare, public facilities and work.  Our goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations with solutions that are both creative and pragmatic.

As intern architect you will be involved in architecture and interior design projects from start to finish and have the opportunity to contribute and learn in a collaborative team environment. Importantly, you must have the desire and ability to help us maintain the strong, long term relationships we have with our clients.

A bachelor or master’s degree in architecture is required, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicants should be proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Revit, Photoshop and Sketch-Up. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment are critical.
