The new Inflight Training Program within Alaska Airlines Flight Training Center is now fully operational, helping to keep flying safe for all of us! Our 24,000 square foot renovation includes 6 new classrooms, a mock-up training space, informal collaboration areas and instructor offices. Classroom design is focused on student comfort and includes multiscreen technology, refreshments and a variety of options allowing trainees to sit, stand, perch or move during long training sessions. A favorite part of the project for the Buffalo team was the large mockup bay with space for two airplane fuselages (!) and multiple training modules, pictured below.
