We’re excited about the progress and public support for the upcoming Lacey Timberland Library interior renovation. Plans and concept drawings presented at last month’s Open House were warmly received, and construction is expected to begin in fall of 2020. The renovation of the 20,000 sf branch will feature adjustable-height service desks, new return station and book drop, a dedicated check-in area, expanded adult services area and an updated fully accessible family restroom, with the overarching goal of creating a more welcoming and friendly space for all library patrons.
